Travel Wise is a multimodal innovation project for the aviation and railway (and maritime) sectors, focusing on multimodal common situation awareness and increased coordination between air/rail/waterborne transport modes to facilitate multimodal journeys.
Mission – To monitor traffic and passenger flows to strengthen multimodal coordination, proactively detect and share potential travel disruptions, and implement collaborative measures that minimize impact—supporting smarter decision-making and a smoother travel experience across air, rail, and waterborne transport modes.
Vision – To enable seamless and resilient multimodal travel by enhancing real-time coordination, anticipating disruptions, and fostering collaborative decision-making between air, rail, and other transport modes – ultimately improving passenger experience and journey continuity.
