Project Vision Presented by Micol Biscotto
Micol Biscotto from Deep Blue, the project coordinator, delivered a presentation at the EURNEX sessions, showcasing the Travel Wise project and its ambitious vision for the future of multimodal transport . Representing the Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking and SESAR Joint Undertaking partnership, Biscotto outlined how the project aims to support the shift from managing rail and air traffic in silos to intermodal traffic orchestration .
Poster Presentation
In addition to the main presentation, Travel Wise was also represented with a poster titled “Bridging Disruptions: AI-Driven Coordination Across Air and Rail Networks.” The poster was presented by Ismini Stroumpou and highlighted the project’s innovative approach to disruption management through advanced AI-driven coordination mechanisms.
The poster reflects the project’s focus on developing a single air-rail intermodal Collaborative Decision-Making (CDM) solution, including real-time information exchange between stakeholders . This solution aims to improve the multimodal passenger experience by supporting optimised door-to-door transport services and more effective disruption management across modes .
